Terms and conditions applicable from 2017-01-01 on purchases of goods from www.servaprintfinishing.com.

Serva has the ambition to provide our Customers with the best possible service. In case the following conditions make it difficult or impair setting for ordering, please contact Serva to find the best possible solution. Prices and terms of purchase
All prices are in Euro (€), VAT excluded. In order to purchase, your company has to be registered for VAT in your country. Payment is carried out excluding VAT and the buyer is solely responsible for reporting and paying VAT and other taxes in their country. Serva reserves the right to refuse purchase due to incorrect pricing by repay the entire amount without further obligations for neither Serva nor the buyer. Complaint due to future price changes after completion order will not be accepted.
Credit card payment
Your order will be handled within 24 hours of first normal working day from completed payment. In connection with delivery of the goods, a receipt will be sent in pdf to your e-mail address.
After confirmed order you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to pay for the order. As soon as we receive full payment we will start processing your order, normally within 1-2 working days. In connection with delivery of the goods, a receipt will be sent in pdf to your e-mail address.
Normal delivery time is 3-7 working days. For some products and some locations longer delivery time may occur. Serva will notify the buyer in case the delivery time is expected to exceed 3-7 working days and the buyer will be able to cancel the order with full refund. The buyer is not entitled to cancel the order on delay, based on normal or estimated delivery time, due to events beyond Serva's control.
Terms of delivery
Delivery of goods can be either from Serva or directly from one of Serva’s factories in Europe. Unless otherwise agreed, all goods are delivered with "DDP according to Incoterms 2010", which means that Serva stands the risk of damage and loss to the place where the shipping company leaves the goods to the buyer. Serva is not responsible for the consequences of delayed delivery.
The shipping cost is either included in the price of the goods or separately specified on the order. Some shipments may have to be collected at a delivery point assigned by the shipping company. Serva reserves the right to refuse delivery to certain locations due to local regulations or deviating terms / shipping costs. The buyer is offered in such a case, without obligations, full refund of the order
Return Policy and Open Purchase
Some products has the right of withdrawal, contact Serva to check a specific product. When using the right of withdrawal, Serva shall be notified by email within 7 days from delivery receiving. The goods should be returned unused in original packaging. The buyer is responsible for any damage that occurs on the goods until it is delivered to Serva. Shipping and handling costs may apply.
For certain products, open purchase can be offered for a limited period and under separate agreed terms between buyer and seller before order is confirmed.
In a case of visible damage or loss, the notice shall be made upon the waybill signed by carrier, then immediately reported to Serva. For shipping damage, not visible at delivery, notification must be made as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after delivery receiving. The notification shall be sent to Serva by e-mail with the attached pictures of the damage and a copy of the waybill.
Serva owns the right to decide if the product can be restored in its original state or replaced with an equivalent product. Serva undertakes to arrange shipments and pay the additional shipping cost. Serva is not responsible for the consequences of the delays that occur before the product can be used. Shipping damage is considered within the limits of current terms of delivery. Upon return, the buyer must pack the goods in original packaging.
In case of incorrect delivered product, notification must be made as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after delivery receiving. The notification shall be sent to Serva by e-mail. Serva undertakes to replace the goods, arrange shipments and pay the additional shipping cost. Serva is not responsible for any other costs or inconveniences that arise due to incorrect delivery of goods. Upon return, the buyer must pack the goods in original packaging.
The warranty period is counted from the day of delivery receiving. Unless otherwise agreed, 12 month warranty applies to new products, 6 months for demo / exhibition products and 3 months for used / pre owned products. During the warranty period, replacement parts are included. Any other costs will not be paid by Serva, such as labor costs for replacement / repairing, compensation for other expenses, income loss or other loss incurred due to the error.
The warranty applies only to the original buyer of the product and can not be transferred to any other third party. Notification must be submitted within a reasonable time, and no longer than 30 days, after the error has been detected. The notification shall be sent to Serva by e-mail with the description of the error. If such notification is not made, even though the buyer has discovered or should have discovered the error, the buyer loses the right to invoke the warranty.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects, not if the product has been stored in an inappropriate environment / temperature, or incorrectly installed, used improperly or incorrectly. The warranty does not apply to cutting blades / knifes, cutting wheels, punching tools, cutting and punching sticks and other similar consumption- and wear parts. Feeding rolls or machine parts affected by external factors such as paper and similar media, oil, wax, cleaning fluids or other similar liquids are not covered by warranty.
The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, scratches, marks or damage caused by shock or accident. The warranty does not apply to shipping damage. The warranty does not apply if the product has been used in a context other than its purpose, or defects caused by use of inappropriate material or inappropriate surface layer of the material.
Warranty does not cover unsatisfactory results due to improperly adjusted features / settings and machinery parts, such as support / side support, side guides, back gauge, cutting / punching depth and similar parts. The warranty does not cover damage caused by moisture / water, thunderstorms or abnormal voltage variations. The warranty does not cover consequential damage or other inconvenience caused by defects in the delivered product. Serva reserves the right to invalidate the warranty if machine or machine parts has been disassembled without Serva’s recommendation.
Serva owns the right to recall defective parts for inspection. If so, the buyer undertakes to pack the part in a protective packaging and in other relevant way to facilitate for Serva to pick up the part.
Serva can offer on-site service at the buyer or at Serva's service center. Serva reserve the right to use, or refer support to, a third party service company.
Serva offer free support for delivered products in English and Swedish by telephone and e-mail during Serva's opening hours. Serva reserve the right to use, or refer support to, a third party service company.
Handling and protection of personal data
Force Majeure means exemption from liability for damage or circumstance such as warfare, strike, lockout, blockade, fire, natural disaster or other similar circumstance beyond the parties' control. The liberation lasts only as long as obstacles persist.
